Perception of fairness in pay by academic and teaching staff

Equity is defined as a correlation between person’s merits and their remuneration. This article deals with social labor equity, regarding it subjective assessment of the ratio wages to employees’ physical and/or intellectual effort. The aims determine academic teaching staff pay equity. An empirical study semi-formalized expert research method was carried out 86 four Russian universities. A series interviews conducted in 2019–2020. For analysis, we relied on material non-material factors wage fairness. results show that half informants consider balance effort be fair. At same time, they call work quite laborious. Remuneration for consists educational activities. second part not guaranteed usually large income from level fairness payment influenced by competent system incentives university staff. unfair remuneration compels competitive personnel move real sector economy or markets other countries. younger (under 30) non-graduated employees, characteristic. These people have high classroom load supporting roles scientific projects. In addition equity are (free schedule, comfortable working conditions, management support, interest work, involvement selfrealization). Intangible contribute consolidation field. Fairness transparent trust employer. stable, so needs done regularly prevent edification team dissatisfaction.
