Perception of fairness in pay by academic and teaching staff

Equity is defined as a correlation between person’s merits and their remuneration. This article deals with social labor equity, regarding it subjective assessment of the ratio wages to employees’ physical and/or intellectual effort. The aims determine academic teaching staff pay equity. An empirical study semi-formalized expert research method was carried out 86 four Russian universities. A series interviews conducted in 2019–2020. For analysis, we relied on material non-material factors wage fairness. results show that half informants consider balance effort be fair.
